They are, however, the big winner and you will be the one who is left with his leftovers. How can that be, you are the one who knows everyone in town?

The truth is business is business. Being involved with a successful restaurant business has nothing to do with how many people you know, success has to do with how many people you please.

The more you are concerned with customer service, the more your customers will be impressed with you. In order to find success within the independent restaurant business, you must turn toward customer service in order to gain your share of the market.

The real key is to be happy even if you have worked for eighteen straight days and you are very tired. You must still be able to motivate your crew so that they shine constantly. There are many things to consider and many problems to solve in the restaurant business, but if you can conquer the customer service issue, you will be ahead of most.
